Three things make Canadian media planning harder than it needs to be. Almost nobody publishes rates. The measurement that does exist is excellent but sits behind member logins. And most of what surfaces in a search is American data with a maple leaf on it.
So these pages do three things. They give the range we plan to and say where it came from. They name the Canadian measurement — COMMB, Numeris, IAB Canada, Triton — rather than borrowing US benchmarks. And where no credible Canadian figure exists, they say so plainly instead of inventing one.
Every page carries the date it was last checked and a full source list. If you are reading one more than three months after that date, ask us — Canadian sales representation in particular changes hands faster than most content gets updated.
One thing to declare up front, because it shapes what you will read here. We buy where it makes most sense for the campaign: direct with the media owners we hold relationships with, or programmatically. Being able to do both means the route gets chosen on what the campaign needs rather than on what the agency happens to have access to.
